Quick function list

What you can do with Amazon

A simple look at the main tools. Full details and setup steps are below.

  • Import listings, orders and available return information.
  • Link listings to POS products, packs or product combinations.
  • Send stock and selected prices for orders you fulfil (FBM).
  • View stock Amazon holds and fulfils (FBA) separately.
  • View estimated or confirmed fees and saved order costs.
  • Find missing product links, costs and listing problems.
  • Review AI-written listing text before sending selected changes.
  • Check Amazon responses and the public product page.

FBM means you send the order. FBA means Amazon holds and sends it. POS stock does not replace FBA quantities. Customer details depend on Amazon permissions.

How the connection works

Know who sends each Amazon order

Link Amazon listings and orders to POS. Keep stock you hold, stock Amazon holds and estimated fees separate.

Read listings, orders and fees

Check listings, hidden or inactive products, orders, cancellations and returns. Refresh products and orders and review failed updates.

Link products before relying on profit

Match the listing to a POS product, pack or combo. The link supplies stock and cost details. Missing costs and fees remain unknown.

Stock you hold and stock Amazon holds

For FBM orders you send, update supported stock and selected prices from POS. For FBA orders Amazon sends, read Amazon stock available, reserved or on the way.

Use stock and sales suggestions

Check restock suggestions, FBA opportunities, POS links, listing problems, profit and slow sellers. Create purchase requests or open Seller Central to fix the right problem.

One place to manage your store

See what each sale earns after goods cost, fees and delivery.

Connect when you are ready. Your POS, product history and other connected stores stay in the same account.

Amazon listings and problems to fix

Import listings, link them to POS products and review listing problems. Creating new ASIN product numbers automatically is not promised.

Selected FBM price updates

Send a selected FBM price and check Amazon’s reply. FBM means you send the order. This is separate from Takealot Auto Price.

FBM whole packs and combos

For a pack of two, 37 available units allow 18 complete packs. A combo runs out when any required item runs out.

FBA stock held by Amazon

FBA means Amazon sends the order. Read available, inbound and reserved Amazon stock separately from your POS stock.

Imported orders and returns

Import Amazon orders and return details. Importing a record does not mean taking stock from the till again.

Scheduled updates and their history

The current schedule reads listings every two hours and orders hourly. Check progress and errors. Amazon accepting a change does not mean shoppers can see it yet.

Estimated and final Amazon fees

Keep missing fees marked as pending. Replace fee estimates with final Amazon fees when available and update the profit.

Saved goods costs and FBM delivery

Profit includes goods cost, Amazon fees and your set FBM delivery cost. Save goods cost when the order is first fully costed. Missing cost stays unknown.

Draft and check Amazon product text

Draft titles, bullet points, descriptions and search terms with AI. Review checks and edit history. After Amazon accepts a change, check the public listing too.

Find stock to reorder and slow sellers

Use stock and sales to find products to reorder and products selling slowly. Check Amazon-held FBA stock separately from your FBM stock.

Choose who sends the orders

Keep orders you send and orders Amazon sends separate when planning stock. Check listing requirements before changing who sends the orders.

Dashboard with missing-cost warnings

Check sales, stock, orders needing action and FBA versus FBM activity. Show missing costs and pending fees beside the profit totals.

Find products and missing POS links

Find active, low-stock, sold-out and sold-but-unlinked listings. Link the product before using its POS cost or sending POS stock.

Orders, cancellations and returns

Search orders by date, status or who sends them. Review cancellations and returns separately. Refresh fees and profit where supported.

Stock buying suggestions

For FBA, count stock at Amazon and stock on the way. For linked FBM, check POS stock. Request more stock when short; link unmatched products first.

FBA opportunities, links and listing problems

Use Insights to find FBA opportunities, missing POS links and hidden or inactive listings. Review problems that need action in Seller Central.

Review low profit and slow sellers

Find products losing money, earning low profit, getting many returns or selling less. Check missing profit data. Review Amazon-held ageing stock separately from your linked stock.

Questions

Before you connect Amazon

Are both FBA and FBM supported?

Yes. Read FBA stock held by Amazon. Update supported FBM stock and prices for orders you send.

Can I see Amazon fees?

Yes. See fee details and use them to check profit after Amazon charges.

Does it support Amazon South Africa?

Yes. Amazon.co.za is a supported marketplace.

How do packs and combos affect FBM stock?

With 37 available POS units, a pack of two sends a stock quantity of 18 packs. A combo runs out when any required item runs out. This does not change Amazon-held FBA stock.

Are unknown fees or missing costs treated as zero?

No. Missing fees stay pending and missing costs stay unknown. Profit remains incomplete until the required details arrive.

Can shoppers see a change as soon as Amazon accepts it?

No. Review the draft, checks and change history, then see whether Amazon accepted the change. Check the public listing separately to see what shoppers can read.

What stock does Amazon restock planning check?

For FBA, check stock at Amazon and stock on the way. For linked FBM, check POS stock with pack and combo rules. Review product links, sync status and buying needs first.

Can I see which products are selling but not linked?

Yes. Product filters and Insights show selling listings without POS links. Linking adds the stock and cost details needed for supported updates and profit calculations.
